Q2 Financial Highlights
According to its recent filing, in the quarter ending September 2024, JSW Holdings Limited’s consolidated revenue from operations has increased by 82 percent YOY from Rs. 89 crore in Q2 FY24 to Rs. 162 crore in Q2 FY25 and increased by 500 percent QoQ from Rs. 27 crore in Q4 FY24.
The company’s consolidated net profit has increased by 90.5 percent, from Rs. 63 crore in Q2 FY24 to Rs. 120 crore in Q2 FY25. As compared to the last quarter of 2025, the company’s net profit has increased by 126.4 percent QoQ from Rs. 53 crore.
Market Outlook
The NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Companies) sector shows strong growth potential despite temporary concerns. NBFCs now make up 14.5% of total balance sheet size in India’s financial sector and have adapted well to scale-based regulations implemented in 2022. In the steel sector, the outlook is positive due to strong domestic advantages, including raw material availability, cheap labour, and iron ore access. However, the sector faces intense competition from international players, particularly from China, Russia, Japan, and South Korea.
