The BNB Chain has announced a significant collaboration with Google Cloud, which will provide support for projects within its Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program. Now entering its eighth season, the MVB program is designed to foster the development of decentralized applications on the BNB Chain, according to a BNB Chain blog post.
Google Cloud’s Contribution
As part of the Google Cloud Web3 Startups Program, selected projects will receive up to $350,000 in cloud credits for AI-focused Web3 initiatives and $200,000 for non-AI Web3 projects over a two-year period. This financial backing is intended to accelerate the growth of up to 40 projects, thereby enhancing the broader BNB Chain ecosystem.
Program Structure and Goals
The MVB program, a four-week accelerator, is a collaborative effort involving Binance Labs and CMC Labs. It aims to nurture builders, founders, and developers who are contributing to the BNB Chain ecosystem. This initiative not only supports project development but also aims to drive long-term growth within the blockchain space.
BNB Chain Ecosystem
BNB Chain, noted for being the largest smart contract blockchain by daily active users, encompasses BNB Smart Chain (BSC), opBNB, and BNB Greenfield. This ecosystem supports over 4,000 decentralized applications across various sectors, including DeFi, Metaverse, blockchain gaming, and NFTs.
About BNB Chain and Its Partners
BNB Chain’s infrastructure includes BNB Smart Chain, a hub for DeFi with low transaction fees; opBNB, an L2 solution offering rapid processing speeds; and BNB Greenfield for decentralized storage solutions. The ecosystem is fortified by AvengerDAO for security and Red Alarm for real-time Dapp risk assessment.
Binance Labs, a venture capital powerhouse, has a diverse portfolio covering over 250 projects globally, with more than 65 projects having completed its incubation programs. CMC Labs, on the other hand, offers a selective accelerator program providing marketing, networking, and strategic services to Web3 startups.
