NVIDIA has been ranked as the leading company on Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best Companies for 2025. The list evaluates firms based on over 60 criteria, including financial performance, customer and employee satisfaction, and sustainability efforts, according to NVIDIA.
Excellence Across Multiple Areas
Forbes highlighted NVIDIA’s outstanding performance in several domains, particularly noting its high employee satisfaction levels. The company excelled in offering career opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and a positive corporate culture, which contributed to its financial strength.
Methodology and Selection
Approximately 2,000 of the largest public companies in the United States were considered eligible for the list, with 300 ultimately making the cut. NVIDIA stood out among these for its innovative approaches to employee engagement and benefits.
Employee-Centric Initiatives
Beau Davidson, NVIDIA’s Vice President of Employee Experience, emphasized the company’s commitment to listening to its employees through various channels like quarterly surveys, CEO Q&A sessions, and a virtual suggestion box. This feedback mechanism allows the company to address concerns ranging from benefits to workplace amenities.
Furthermore, NVIDIA has introduced ‘Free Days’, allowing the entire company to take a break two days each quarter. This initiative is complemented by on-site counseling services and a careers week designed to help employees explore internal job opportunities.
Low Turnover Rates
NVIDIA’s efforts have translated into a notably low employee turnover rate, which Forbes’ data provider, People Data Labs, considers an indicator of workforce stability and employee contentment.
