Realty stock in focus after company expects revenue growth of ₹28,000 Cr in next 5 years


Shares of this real estate company rose on Monday morning after management projected a guidance of over Rs.28,000 crore in revenue potential over the next 5-8 years from ongoing, upcoming, and forthcoming residential assets, with an expected annuity revenue of Rs.1,790 crore from FY30 for its commercial assets. 

Price Movement 

During Monday’s trading session, Valor Estate Ltd‘s share price reached an intraday high of Rs.160.82 per share, rising 0.4 percent from its previous closing price of Rs.160.31 apiece. The share has since retreated and is currently trading at Rs.155.52 each. 

What happened 

Valor Estate Ltd anticipates a revenue potential exceeding Rs.28,000 crore over the next 5-8 years, driven by its ongoing, upcoming, and planned residential projects. 

Additionally, the company expects to generate annuity revenue of approximately Rs.1,790 crore from its commercial assets by FY30, reflecting its strong growth trajectory and strategic expansion in both residential and commercial sectors.

Valor Estates is making significant strides with major projects in Mumbai, including a Rs.20,000 crore joint development in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) with L&T Realty, spanning 10 acres and expected to yield over 7.5 million square feet. 

The company is also partnering with Macrotech Developers on a Rs.3,500 crore residential project in Malad West. In FY2025, Valor plans to launch 3-4 new projects across various segments, offering 1 BHK to 4 BHK units priced between Rs.1 crore and Rs.5 crore.

Financial Performance 

In its recent financial update for the quarter ending September 2024, Valor Estate Ltd reported revenue from operations of Rs.79 crore, reflecting a 16.17 percent incline from Rs.68 crore in Q2 FY24. However, net profits fell significantly to a loss of Rs.111 crore from profits of Rs.894 crore in the same period. 

Shareholding Pattern 

As per the September 2024 shareholding pattern, the promoters of Valor Estate Ltd hold a 47.38 percent stake, while Foreign Institutional Investors hold a 3.46 percent stake. Domestic Institutional Investors and Retail investors hold a stake of 0.37 percent and 48.78 percent, respectively in the company.
